Trek’s best seller gets even better with all-new features that take ‘entry level’ off the ground floor while still hitting the price points that your Marlin customers expect.

Total trail confidence

The new Alpha Aluminum frame gets modern trail-bike updates: a slacker head tube, longer reach and wider bars boost confidence for taking on harder trails. Once your customers outgrow the stock fork, Marlins size XS and up can be upgraded to 120 mm of travel. Plus, there’s clearance for grippy 2.4” tyres on all sizes.

Fastest flat fix in the west

Get a little too rowdy trying out the rock garden and need to fix a flat? The all-new Thru Skew rear axle makes taking the rear wheel off and putting it back on a breeze for new riders, thanks to a closed drop-out system that is safer, simpler and stronger. They can even pocket the removable lever for added security or a cleaner look.

Sleek and simplified

Updated cable routing means Marlin is now compatible with internally routed dropper posts! The Marlin also comes with foam tubes wrapped around the internally routed derailleur housing and brake hoses, silencing rattles from inside the frame, while a new full-coverage chain stay guard quiets chain slap and gives the Marlin a trail-ready look.

Sized for every rider

The Marlin now comes in an XXS-specific frame, rounding off the total number of unique frame sizes to eight. We continue our Smart Wheel Size philosophy: smaller sizes get a curved top tube and wheels as small as 26”, with wheel size increasing proportionally with frame size. From kids to seasoned adults, no other bike at this price point fits so many riders so well.

***For your most price-conscious customers, the Marlin 4 and 5 carry forward the existing Marlin frame set for a high-value alternative to the new Marlin 6, 7 and 8.
